| Search RAE can scan computer directories and files for topics of interest to the user. Several topics (terrorism, school, etc.) have been created and are shown below. Users can create any topic they want by pressing the "Create Topics" button. To use Search RAE, a user chooses one or more topics, selects a directory to scan (all subdirectories are also scanned), chooses a language, and presses "Search". All text files (with extensions .TXT, .RTF, or .DOC) are searched. Microsoft Outlook and Eudora email folders, if under the selected directory, are also scanned. |
